What happens to my money if Kelvin goes bust?
Your crypto is held in segregated custody and is not part of Kelvin’s assets, so it would be returned to you. Euro balances sit with our partner bank and are protected up to €100,000 by the statutory deposit guarantee.
Is crypto risky?
Yes. Prices can swing hard and you can lose money. Kelvin keeps your crypto safe from hacks and insolvency, not from the market. That is why we never push you to trade and show the risk next to every price.
Can I withdraw to my own wallet?
Any time, to any address you have verified: Bitcoin, Ether, Solana and EURC. Network fees are passed on at cost.
How fast can I thaw money?
Euros instantly. Crypto usually in under a minute, around the clock. Withdrawals above €250,000 from cold storage take up to four hours, on purpose.
What about taxes?
Every January you get a German tax report with all gains, losses and holding periods, ready for your tax return. One tap sends it to your tax adviser.
